Advanced Management Information Systems was founded in 1970. In 1973 utilizing a Prime 400 Mini-computer, our first Batch customer joined us. That was The Pittsburgh Press FCU, now called The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette FCU.

In 1984 the Employees bought the firm, and designed an On-line version of the AMIS Credit Union software. In 1985 the first On-line customer came on. Using terminals to access the mainframe.

By 1988 AMIS programmers had developed an In-house version to be used on the first PC's. Our first In-House customer that year was Swindell-Dressler FCU.

Today AMIS is utilizing the latest Microsoft Windows™ technology, and the internet to bring our customers the services they need to take care of their members.
